December 7, 2009 - Tamara O'Connor, Public Affairs Supervisor for State Farm Insurance presented Green Works board members with a check for $12,000 in support of the ECOS program.

In presenting the check, Tamara stated that the Green Works goals for youth academic literacy, service learning, and work experience aligned with State Farm's goals and noted the significant results Green Works had achieved in a very short amount of time.

This grant from State Farm represents the second-largest grant to Green Works, and the largest grant from the corporate community.
