February 27, 2010 – Green Works received a grant from the MARC Solid Waste Management District to promote recycling and decrease solid waste in urban Kansas City. The Shake Up Recycling Tour made it's first stop at the Blue Hills neighborhood in February with fifty residents in attendance. Special thanks to Eco Elvis for volunteering his time and the city of Kansas City, MO for donating recycling bins to the tour.
