June 4, 2011 – With funding from an EPA 5-Star grant, and assistance from partners Mo. Dept. of Conservation, KCMO Parks & Rec., and Burns & McDonnell Engineering, Green Works students and volunteers began on May 7th and June 4th the first phase of a two-year habitat restoration project on Brush Creek, near the Benton Bridge.
