October 9, 2008 – ECOS students worked with Wendy Parrett from the Missouri Department of Conservation to collect seeds from two native Missouri plants.  Students will work with Wendy this winter planting the seeds at Wendy's greenhouse at The Discovery Center.  Then in the spring the students will help repopulate an area of Swope Park with the new native plants.
