The "Shake-Up Recycling" Tour
With funding from The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) Solid Waste Management District, Green Works has teamed up with Eco Elvis to "Shake Up Recycling in the City." Eco Elvis and our students are giving presentations at neighborhood meetings and passing out green on the go kits to help residents decrease their solid waste.

Tour Dates:
February - Blue Hills Neighborhood Association
March - Front Porch Alliance
May - Manheim Neighborhood Association
June - Green Impact Zone youth group
July - Operation Breakthrough teens
July - Ivanhoe Neighborhood block captains

“Eco Elvis and his crew put on a very entertaining and educational performance for a packed house at the Blue Hills Neighborhood Association’s general meeting.  This is a great service to our community while lightening up any meeting.  I hope that many take advantage of this unique opportunity.  Thank you!” - Bill Hart, Blue Hills

"Several parents commented that since the presentation their homes had been turned upside down because their kids were all about recycling - and the parents felt compelled to get on board too. Eco Elvis and the students were terrific, and obviously impactful. Thanks for this great experience!" Patsy Shawver, Front Porch Alliance
